4yr old Alamosa mare TINKERMOSA who won the Wagga Guineas in May is set to kick off her spring campaign tomorrow at Canterbury.
Since returning to the stable the consistent mare has had two trials with a win in her most recent at Randwick on 28th August. Tinkermosa will line up in the last race on the card at 4:55pm and will be ridden by Jason Collett, over the sprint distance of 1250m.
John is happy with the manner in which the mare has returned. She is fit and well however the race tomorrow is short of her best distance and he feels that she will be more at her peak over further distance. Hopefully picking up some black type this preparation as she continues to become mature more.
