Today’s Runners 14.09.18

Today we head both North and South with runners to represent the stable. We have one runner head south to the city of Goulburn while the JSR float will be polished and heads north to Newcastle with two runners for the first day of the Gold Cup carnival.

GOULBURN
Race 3- HOME MADE– Travis Wolfgram
3 year old High Chapparal gelding having his second start in for his spring campaign has drawn barrier 4 and is partnered with Travis Wolfgram, who rode him to victory when breaking his maiden at just his second start. A youngster that John and connections have mapped out a big spring target for during the Melbourne Spring Carnival week in November.

NEWCASTLE
Race 5- 3yr old Spring Stakes
A field of some nice 3 year old types, including our very own COME ALONG and HOME WIN.

Come Along (Power x Game Duchess)- has showed ability since his first up run when finishing 4th on debut and then following it up with a second at Kembla in early August. Last start at Wyong at the end of August saw the promising stayer in the making break his maiden style with Jeff Penza in the saddle.

Home Win (Snitzel x Flidais) – The full brother to talented colt Showtime and Sweet Idea, our youngster who also broke his maiden at his second start. Lining up today for his 3rd start this preparation and up in distance, will give John and his connections an indication of how on track he is for the big spring carnival that has been mapped out for him.

Good Luck to all connections associated with Today’s runners.
