Miss Moana looking to break Maiden

Team Sargent head south today to the city of Goulburn with lone hope Miss Moana (Uncle Mo x Coral Reef), who is looking to break her maiden status at her 4th career start.

In her first preparation on debut, the Uncle Mo filly went close running a good second at Newcastle before being sent out for a little break to allow her time to mature further. Since coming back into the stables, she has shown that she has not only developed physically but mentally appears to be more mature. In her short career of 3 starts, Miss Moana has recorded two close seconds with the latest of those being her last outing on the 23rd September at Wyong over the mile (1600m) when ridden by Jason Collett.

Today Miss Moana will step out in the fourth race and over the mile again, with the rain that has been around the ground and distance should suit her. John has her fit and well, the filly will be partnered with Adam Hyeronimus.

Good Luck to a big group of owners in the filly including Tricolours Racing Syndications.
