Today the JSR truck heads north to the Central Coast township of Wyong (home to the infamous Kim Waugh’s Donkey- Bulli) with two runners to represent the team:
Race 2 @ 1:55 pm Winning Applicances Maiden Handicap over 1350m
LADIES’ GEM– A horse that has been in consistent form lately and is knocking on the till with his hoof. Will be suited by the wet conditions (track currently a soft 6), drawn nicely and should be a good chance today to break the maiden status for his patient connections. To be ridden by Rachael Murray.
Race 4 @ 3:10pm Austral Bricks Maiden Plate over 1000m
KING WILLIAM– This 3 year old gelding is the offspring of Prince Arthur and Thorn Park New Zealand mare- Rose Among The Thorns, making his race debut today over the short sprint distance. He is fresh and very new to the racing game having had just 5 trials before graduating to race grade. His race has fallen away with a number of scratchings so hopefully the little guy can show up his well-bred competition. King William will be paired up with his regular trial rider in Rachel King to steer him around.
