Promising galloper The Drake (Smart Missile x Mallard) makes a return to the races tomorrow at Newcastle over the short sprinting distance of 900m (Race 2) and reunited with Mitchell Bell.
The big giant has returned to the stables on the back of a Tie Back Operation and some barrier issues. Recently stepping out in a barrier trial at Warwick Farm, showed that he still has his ability to be able to gallop well, winning by 3 lengths.
John believes that if he behaves in the barriers tomorrow he should be very hard to beat.
