The team heads to Canterbury tonight with one runner to represent the team and it is one that has injected a lot of excitement into the stable.
MY FIRE PHOENIX (The Factor x Wild Soiree) has impressed John since joining the stable and even more so in her first public appearance at her barrier trial at the same track last month, winning impressively.
The filly comes hails from a black type winning and placed family, out of a dam that has produced 4 to the races for 4 winners. This is the family that produced group placed filly Tulip and Flying Spur.
Purchased from the 2018 Inglis Classic sale by loyal and long term Hong Kong connections, we wish them all the best for the debut of the filly. She has drawn nicely in barrier 5 and will be ridden by Tommy Berry who also rode her in the trial.
