The stable float has departed Royal Randwick and is headed over the mountains to Bathurst for today’s country racing. On board the float are two runners looking to represent the team:
Race 3 – Watermart F & M Maiden Handicap (1200m)
Wandjina filly LOVELY SPIRIT, will be looking to shake the maiden status in Race 3 at just her 3rd career start. Today she steps up in distance out to the 1200m which should suit her nicely and from the inside gate she should get every opportunity to hopefully be first past the post with Keagan Latham in the stable colours.
Race 7 – Kennards Hire Benchmark 66 Handicap (1400m)
In the last of the day we have last start winner MOST WELCOME looking to notch up another win on the back of his win at Cessnock earlier in the month. Now with the confidence from the win and a small step up in distance the team are hoping that he will be able to go on and continue to work through the grades. Jumping from barrier 5 and will carry Rory Hutchings in the saddle.
