Tornado Gal Storms Goulburn

On a cold and windy Tuesday we sent two runners south to the city of Goulburn and waited until the last on the card to take victory with our 3yr old filly- Tornado Gal.  Ridden by Jay Ford, after the jump Tornado Gal settled toward the rear of the field for the journey over the mile (1600m). Coming to the 800m pole Ford begins to edge Tornado Gal closer to the leaders pulling out wide on the turn to give the Hard Spun filly clear running. Along the straight Tornado Gal showed an explosive turn of foot to reel in the leaders and to take the lead with 200m until the post, winning by 3 lengths.

After watching the replay of the race John states that Tornado Gal is a “promising stayer in the making”.
