All the work has now been done with our runner in the 2yr Wyong Magic Millions Classic. The horse has been checked over this morning and given the all clear to make the trip up to Wyong to take her place in today’s feature race.
Maurice filly HEALTHY BEAUTY has impressed since joining the stable earlier in the year. The younger sister to Holy Sunday stamped herself as one to watch when appearing in her first barrier trial in November where she finished less than 2 lengths behind stable mate Gin Martini. At the end of the month she headed to another trial at Rosehill with Tommy Berry in the saddle. Jumping cleanly from the gates she was able to find the front and did not give anything a chance to run her down.
She heads into today’s race fit and well. Tommy Berry stays in the saddle and will have to overcome a wide gate in the field of 14 youngsters who are all looking to qualify for the final next month over the Gold Coast Magic Millions Carnival.
John already has qualified promising Bullpoint colt READILY AVAILABULL for the race after taking out the Magic Millions Clockwise Classic at Ballarat last month, today hoping to add another youngster in the field.
Good Luck to all connections associated with Healthy Beauty today and our other runner in the last race, Foxborough to be ridden by Keagan Latham.
