We are now a few weeks into the new racing season, but it would be remiss not to reflect on the season that was and the success of our stable apprentice Molly Bourke for the 2024/25 racing season. Molly joined our stable in December of 2023. Since then, Molly has learnt, improved and matured into a future star of the sport and one of the leading apprentices amongst the metropolitan riding ranks. Molly finished the season with 40 race victories of which 24 of them were metropolitan winners. These numbers placed Molly second overall in the Apprentice Metro Premiership for the season which is a huge personal achievement. Molly has had many outstanding performances during the season but highlighted by winning the ATC Cup over 2000m at Rosehill aboard Floating notching up her first ever listed winner of her career. Another highlight for the season was riding stable favourite at John Sargent’s Casual Connection to multiple victors and placings over the season, notching up two metro victories on him.
Molly shared incredible success in the 2024/25 season but is looking forward to the upcoming season where she can continue to improve and perform on the big stage with many big victories to come.
