Maria Victoria Looking for a Victorious Return

As the end of winter fast approaches and the start of the new season is closer, exciting times ahead for the stable with some of our horses well into their spring preparations that will see the team represented well in Sydney and Melbourne carnivals.

Today we head to Canterbury with two runners, read more about them below:

Maria Victoria (3yr old Medaglia D’Oro x Zagalia filly)- The consistent filly resumes today and kicks off her next preparation on the back of two very good trials, has been unlucky in her latest prep not to get the maiden monkey off her back however consistently picking up cheques for her connections. She should be able to sprint well fresh although is looking for a further trip. She should be hitting the line nicely and the stable feels that she is a good each way chance.
Race 2- #7 with Tim Clark aboard, scheduled to run at 1:25pm (Australian Time)

Gauguin (4yr old Dalghar x Macavelli Miss gelding) – Dropping back in distance today and blinkers added to help him focus in his runs, has been over the jumps this week to give him a bit of variety with his training (this can help to switch horses back on). We have the services of the World’s Best in Hugh Bowman aboard which is a big plus and gives us a good hope that we can see an improved run from the horse.
Race 5- #6 with Hugh Bowman aboard, scheduled to run at 3:10pm (Australian Time)

We wish connections of both horses all the best today with the runs.
