One of the stable’s favourite and consistent stayers is the 4yr old Rip Van Winkle gelding, Only Tiger. Bred to stay, Only Tiger had his final gallop this morning ahead of his staying race at Gosford on Saturday. He will line up in Race 1 the Benchmark 70 Handicap over the 2600m and will have the guidance of Jeff Penza in the saddle. When asked about his chances in the race, Sarge states ” He has worked brilliantly and should be hard to beat on Saturday”
