Shining Eagle Looking to Soar at Kembla

Promising 3 year old filly SHINING EAGLE resumes today at Kembla in Race 5.

The large filly by Verrazano first showed her ability in her first barrier trial in October of 2018 before she then ran 3rd in her second start at Kembla over 1400m with Travis Wolfgram in the famous Ramsey Pastoral colours.

In her most recent outing, Shining Eagle stepped out in the barrier trials held recently at Randwick where finishing down the field but impressing both John and Stuart in her performance to show that she is ready to head back to the races.

Resuming over 1400m again, a distance that is short of her best as on pedigree she is bred to get over ground, which is where she will show her best. She will be partnered with the in form Tom Marquand who has made his return to the Sydney riding ranks will known scoring a string of wins before he heads back home mid-next month.
